Working directly with the Department of Defense and the Department of Veteran Affairs, HCRS has hands-on experience with their clinical information systems and electronic health record systems, AHLTA, and Computerized Patient Records System (CPRS), and VistA respectively. We design customized training programs targeted to providers and clinic staff on how to use the coding modules in the electronic health record to ensure accurate documentation is entered and the appropriate and maximum diagnostic and procedures codes are selected. HCRS’ consultants provide valuable end-user requirements and feedback to IT-sponsored workgroups to improve the systems and the implementation and deployment processes.
